This page highlights my journey in advocating for sensory-friendly spaces, media features, and community events that make a difference for children with sensory needs.
I was honored to be interviewed by Homes.com about the heart behind my work and why serving neurodivergent and sensory-sensitive families matters so deeply to me.
This feature shares my personal connection to the community and the mission that guides Anna Elder Homes.

Being named a 2024 Good Neighbor Award recipient by Minnesota REALTORS® is an honor that still humbles me. This recognition shines a light on the heart of my work, building community spaces where neurodivergent and sensory-sensitive families feel welcomed, supported, and safe.
The award highlights the inclusive events our community has created together, from Sensory Santa to adaptive playdates and everything in between. These moments aren’t just activities; they’re lifelines for families who often navigate the world without enough understanding or accommodations. I’m grateful that this work is being seen and uplifted.
Most of all, this recognition reminds me that real estate can be a powerful vehicle for belonging. Every home I help someone find helps fuel the mission; making sure every child, every parent, every family feels they have a place where they truly fit.
I had the incredible opportunity to speak with CBS Minnesota about our Sensory-Friendly Santa Event! Creating an inclusive holiday experience for children with sensory needs has been a dream come true.

Last year, I searched for a sensory-friendly Santa event for my kiddos but couldn’t find exactly what I envisioned. That’s when I promised to create one myself.
This past December, that dream became a reality! Thanks to our incredible clients, sponsors, and community, we hosted an unforgettable sensory-friendly Santa event on December 8th. With 10% of AEH’s proceeds supporting the ASD community, we created a magical, inclusive experience for children who need it most.
The response was overwhelming, and while we reached full capacity, we’re thrilled to make this an annual tradition! Our sensory-friendly Santa event will now be held on the first Sunday of December each year.
Missed it this time? Stay tuned for next year—we can’t wait to celebrate with even more amazing families!
The Twin Cities Autism Support Network is all about connection, resources, and creating inclusive experiences for families in our community. From sensory-friendly events to valuable support, this network is making a real difference for those with ASD.
I’m honored to be part of this mission and invite you to learn more about how we can uplift and support families together.
Let’s make the world more inclusive—one step at a time!
